I start work with each patient by gathering a detailed history of their lives. I'm a firm believer (and science is too!) that our early experiences shape who we are. We form our beliefs about ourselves, other people, and the world based on what we undergo, and what we are taught. Sometimes, we find ourselves at a point in life where our beliefs no longer serve us. Is your negative self perception keeping you stuck, stopping you from getting what you want?
We'll assess your starting point and create goals at the beginning, then work toward deeper self-exploration. You'll expect to leave sessions with actionable steps to support your work in session.
Whether we are working through trauma from the past or stress of the present, weekly sessions are individually tailored to explore how your unique life experiences have impacted your beliefs, and how those beliefs play out in everyday life- through your thoughts, feelings, actions and patterns.
By gaining an understanding of ourselves, we can be better informed to make choices more aligned with our true, authentic selves.
